2020 Quick Family Update

We are proud to say we have been going to worship since the COVID started. We are not here to judge. We just want to say how much comfort it is for us to be able to attend worship during these difficult times. We are thankful for Alma School Road Church of Christ. Besides going to worship on Sunday to give God praise and encourage others, we also hiked a lot. We use safe practices, but are not in fear. Both Ryan and I found new jobs since June 2020; a true blessing from God. Our kids go to school in person with masks and temperature checks. Royal played football team and is building his football skills with trainings and practice in the off season. We enjoyed going to the games and continue to watch him at practices. The football coach had to reschedule some games due to their opponents positive COVID-19 tests or different schools being closed. By the end, Royal said he gained much confidence and teamwork spirit. Audrey is in the mock trial club and attended Yale’s national mock trial invitation only championship. She said she learned a lot about direct, cross examining, and how to be a snarky witness. Audrey is thinking about becoming a lawyer in the future. We didn’t send out a Christmas newsletter or cards last year on account of the unexpected loss of Ryan’s father, Roger. We hope this brief catchup will let everyone know we are doing well otherwise and are growing closer to God and family.
